Golam Sorowar was born and raised in Tangail, Bangladesh. Since 1993 he is settled in Frankfurt Germany. Sorowar considers himself a lover of Bengali art and culture and devotes his interests in propagating the roots of this culture through personal and socially related cultural activities. His philosophy towards life is: Simple living, high thinking. His mentor is Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam whose works and ideologies inspire and motivates him in various paths and phases of his life. Life to him is like a constant flow of fresh water; with it he lets his spirit travel among the richness and depths of personal gains and experiences.
Rita Sorowar was born in Rajasthan and raised in Mumbai, India. Rita received her Bachelors in Microbiology from Bombay University. She then received Masters degree in Biotechnology from William Paterson University in New Jersey. Currently she works and lives in Germany. Rita is a person of vast knowledge and prides herself in being able to achieve perfection in giving attention to details in private, professional and social life threads. Her passion is to hold on to her Bengali roots through music and literature in an effort to preserve them in a western world and to pass them on to the next generation. Rita is a trained narrator and has a flair of writing, whose first published 300 lined article was at the age of 14 at a leading English news daily in India.
